The NHL is currently collecting ballots for the All-Star game starters. For some stupid reason, they decided to leave off two of the best members of one of the best teams in the NHL. Rookie phenom (and fan favorite), Sergei Bobrovsky is 2nd in the league in wins, 5th in save percentage, 7th in GAA, and 1st in awesomeness. Yet, you can’t vote for him unless you write-in his name.
Same goes for Claude Giroux. Giroux is a catalyst for the Flyers offense, is 15th in the league in points, 9th in goals, and is the effing man. You can write these dudes in (and vote for some other Flyer beasts) here. Hopefully, the sweet new idea of letting captains pick the All-star reserves will pan out, and Bob and Claude will get a chance to rep Philly in Raleigh. Vote anyway — these dudes deserve it. Oh and buy our shirts. Now.
